Gidday heres a bit about me,
I was born in Sydney on the 25th September, 1959
I spent my childhood up at Nulla Nulla Creek, we then moved into the city of Kempsey town where Dad drove one of the big old log trucks and Mum was a nurse at Kempsey hospital. My Mum grew up with Slim and Shorty and has many a story to tell about there childhood days in Nulla and their records were played constantly in our home.

I guess this is where it all started for me, as a young lad I can still remember the afternoons we would all sing up a real Country Storm around the piano .I bought my first guitar at the age of fifteen and learnt to pick strum with a country run. I then started to learn how to yodel and in no time at all I was yodeling up a an Old Buddy Williams Song

I started entering Country Festivals around Queensland where I was taking many awards for Yodelling and Bush Ballad songs. This led me to put pen to paper and I wrote “Nulla Nulla Winds”, the song about my home in Nulla Nulla Creek in the winter time. I then wrote “All About the Bushland” about the largest Cedar Tree the world had ever seen, which my Great Great Grandfather found and felled in the 1800’s. My other original songs include “A Dusty Old Time Ringer”, “Jacko’s Last Ride”, “Knocking Country”, “A Rough Tough Bush Man”, “Call of Mt Lindesay”, “Mitchell He Could”, “Bangtail Muster”, “Just Think Back” and “Shadow of Mt Lindesay”.

1996 - Johnny Greenwood, John McSweeney, Ron Peters
1997 - Finalist in the “Champion of Champions” for four years running

- Performed on the Beer and Ballads Shows with Brian Howard at Tamworth
2000 - Appearing at Rex Dallas Yodelling and Bush Ballads Show Tamworth
2002 - Appeared on Brian Howard’s Heritage Show and Beer and Ballads Show
- Grand Finalist in the Bush Balladeer Star Quest Tamworth
- Grand Finalist in the Drover Music Talent Search
- Released a new album with Opal Records “Old Boko & Me” which has 12
Tracks two Duet Tracks with the late, great Stan Coster

2003 Had me performing in the Northern Rivers of NSW at Mullumbimby, Yamba, Grafton, Kempsey, Gladstone, Bell-Brook and Tamworth areas for the year.

2004 Saw me working through Southeast Queensland (Rathdowny, Beaudesert, Dalring Downs) and North Queensland (Maryborough, Gin Gin, Theodore, Rockhampton, Charters Towers, Carmila). In late November Pete was back in the Studio at Regency Sound with Marc Lea to produce a great 12 track album with 5 of his own original songs including the title track “Call of Mt Lindesay”.

2005 Was a great start to the year at Tamworth where the new album, “Call of Mt Lindesay” was released, which was received very well and there was plenty of air play on FM and Community Stations.

2006 I was a Grand Finalist at the TIARA Awards, TSA and Tasmanian Music Awards. With The Shadow of Mt Lindsay, A Mothers Prayer and The Call Of Mount Lindsay He has since been touring North Western Queensland with recent performances at the Widgee Balladeers Muster.

2008 Saw the release of my Album “Hillbilly Style” including eight originals something I am very proud of
